This November, the Philippines are going to play host to one of the largest Dota 2 event in South East Asia, the Gigabyte Mineski Pro-Gaming League’s Grand Final. Teams from all around the region will come together at the SM City North Edsa’ Sky Dome to battle it out for their share of the $10,000 prize pool.
While the prize pool may not be the largest in the current competitive climate, the pure size of the event more than makes up for it. The Sky Dome where the occasion is to be held can seat 1,500 people easily and a concert is set to be held in combination with the grand finals.
All throughout the years, teams have been positively taking part in their country’s respective GMPGL events in order to qualifly for the grand finals. An all expense paid trip to the Philippines from the 9th to 10th of November, waits for the teams that was able to eventually qualify for the grand finals.
Aside from a Dota 2 tournament, the old school WarCraft III DotA will also have its very own tournament.
